Decades of Brazilian cinema, organized in a single searchable index.
VideoFilmes has built an archive over decades — feature films, series, documentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, screenplays, masters and press materials. Before this project, that archive lived in network folders, external hard drives, old emails and in the memory of people who were there when each work was made.
We built the platform that brings together, describes and distributes this catalog: an internal layer for the production company to manage its works (metadata, rights, contracts, associated materials) and an external layer for press, festivals and distributors to access what's available, in high resolution, under licensing controls.
Alongside the catalog, we redesigned the institutional website and built the AWS infrastructure that underpins it all — with media pipelines, access security and a global CDN.
